Ingredients
1 container mozzarella pearls, drained
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp red pepper flakes
Fresh basil or thyme
Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Place mozzarella pearls in a clean jar.
2. Add sliced garlic, herbs, and chili flakes.
3. Pour olive oil over the mozzarella until fully covered.
4. Season with salt, pepper, and optional lemon zest.
5. Seal jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
6. Shake gently before serving.
Notes
Use within 5–6 days for best flavor.
Try adding sun-dried tomatoes or crushed coriander seeds.
Repurpose leftover oil as salad dressing or pasta drizzle.
